Stella Rossa Football Club, est. 2016

The Stella Rossa Football Club is an Ontario Recognized Academy playing in the Peel Halton District and Youth Soccer Leagues. It is a fully incorporated non-profit soccer club with the sole purpose of developing talented footballers in high performance capacity. In other words, commitment to high performance soccer, with respect to both player and coaching development, has been at the root of The Stella Rossa Football Club since inception.

Stella Rossa Football Club is an official affiliate of FC Red Star Belgrade. This affiliation gives Club players a direct path from grassroots soccer in Canada to a professional career in Europe through the Serbian Super League and UEFA Champions League winners.

The Club employs a large number of staff to identify, recruit, develop, and support talented young players. Members of The Club’s Youth Development program are expected to couple their Club training with their individual educational programs at their own schools. This reinforces The Club’s high expectations of maintaining the ‘Stella Rossa Standard’, which includes team spirit, friendship, excellence, elite player conduct, effort and persistence, and respect.

The mission of The Stella Rossa Football Club is to create a high-performance environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent, thereby providing the best opportunity to progress in their professional football careers, all whilst ensuring those individuals who fall short of this standard have the necessary skills and education to achieve success in a vocational career.
